User feedback has suggested that there is demand for a more immediate point of access to the Regional Accounts data. In December 2006, as a result of South West of England Regional Development Agency funding, the Economy Module began the development of a web-based version of their product which is now 'live'.
The objective of the project is to deliver a more 'immediate' version of the Regional Accounts than is currently available - one that posed fewer barriers in terms of IT system requirements and bespoke skills, whilst maintaining the character and usefulness of the offline system.
